Cloning lives right in your dashboard, on the Clone page. Upload a recording of the voice — and a personal clone appears among your voices. From that moment it works like any catalog voice: pick it in the generator, paste the text and download a ready MP3. A single generation takes up to 200,000 characters, depending on your plan.

Private by design
A clone never enters the shared catalog of 14,000+ voices. It is pinned to your account: nobody else can see it, play it or generate speech with it. Each plan includes its own number of clone slots — the current limits are listed on the pricing page.

Clone responsibly

How much audio do I need for a clone?
One clean recording is enough to start. Quality beats length: natural speech without music, echo or background noise produces a closer clone than a long noisy file. If the result feels off, re-record the sample in a quieter room and clone again.
Whose voice am I allowed to clone?
Your own — always. Anyone else's — only with the owner's written consent. Cloning a voice to impersonate a real person, including public figures, violates tonvio's terms and may be illegal in your jurisdiction.
Where do I find my clone after it's created?
In your voice list: the clone stands next to catalog voices in the generator, translation and character dubbing. You manage it — including deletion — on the Clone page in your dashboard.
How many voice clones can I have?
It depends on your plan: each plan includes its own number of clone slots, and some entry options include none. Current limits are on the pricing page; deleting an old clone frees a slot for a new one.
Can I delete a clone?
Yes, at any time on the Clone page. The slot becomes available for a new clone. Files you already generated with it are not affected — on subscriptions they stay in your history for 90 days.
Does the clone work with translation and characters?
Yes. A clone behaves like a regular voice. In translation one text becomes your voice in up to 3 languages with a ready MP3 for each; in character dubbing you can assign the clone to any character or keep it as the narrator's voice.
