Terms of Service

The service

tonvio turns text into speech: you submit a text of up to 100,000 characters per job, pick one of 14,000+ AI voices and receive a ready MP3 file. Features may evolve; paid functionality will not disappear without notice.

tonvio is an independent product built on top of third-party AI voice and language models. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the providers of those models; their names, where mentioned, identify integrations only.

Accounts

You sign in with Google; accounts are managed through Supabase. You must be at least 18 years old — or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher — to create an account and make purchases. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person — one account, unless agreed otherwise.

Subscriptions and credits

Unlimited plans ($45 and $80 per month, USD) don't limit generation volume — they differ in speed (4 or 8 parallel streams) and follow fair-use rules: 3 active slots and a queue of up to 50 jobs. Subscriptions renew monthly; subscriptions paid in crypto are renewed manually.

Credit packs (from $1.50, USD) are one-time purchases: credits are added to your balance, never expire and are spent only on actual generation. All prices are listed in USD. Card payments are processed by Creem, acting as our merchant of record — Creem is the seller of record for your card transaction and may appear on your bank statement. Cryptocurrency payments are processed by NOWPayments.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use tonvio to:

• create sexually explicit, pornographic or sexually suggestive (NSFW) content of any kind, or any content involving minors in a sexual or harmful context;
• voice content that is illegal, defamatory or infringes someone's rights, including texts you have no right to use;
• impersonate a real person or clone a voice without the documented consent of its owner, or present AI-generated audio as an authentic recording;
• commit fraud — scam or spam calls, robocalls, phishing, fake reviews or testimonials;
• mislead people — where the law or a platform requires it, disclose that the audio is AI-generated;
• overload the service, bypass limits and billing, or resell access.

The full list of prohibited uses is set out in our Acceptable Use Policy at tonvio.net/acceptable-use — it is part of these terms. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules; in cases of deliberate abuse — without refunding the unused balance.

Rights to generated audio

You keep all rights to the texts you submit. Audio generated from your texts may be used in your projects, including commercial ones — YouTube, podcasts, ads, courses — with no extra royalties to tonvio.

The voices themselves and the underlying models remain the property of tonvio and its technology providers; they may not be extracted, cloned or resold outside the generated audio.

Refunds

Subscription fees for a started period are non-refundable, but you can cancel renewal at any time. An unused credit pack can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no credits were spent — write to [email protected]. Where payment-provider rules or applicable law give you more rights, they prevail.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and fast but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the fitness of generated audio for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, tonvio's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and contact
